For example, if the new continent is the same size as Myrland 2-3 NPC towns should be enough. On a sidenote, just because we talk of a new continent I need to plug in my wishes! Atleast as large as Myrland or bigger, exotic climate (Lykia?), level design to eliminate or limit nodeline crossing lag/freezing and the limited view distance, new unique ressources not available on Myrland and there needs to be ressources on Myrland that won't be available on the new continent, no fast travels from one continent to the other, if there are NPC towns there needs to be proportionally less towns than on Myrland to give more room for player's towns and taverns. I'm not saying it's good or bad, I just feel like it ain't going to be soon. Dear friends, We have been involved with Darkfall for over 13 years now and it is our hope that we will be able to continue well into the future with your support. Understand me good, I wouldn't want it to be rushed out and poorly designed, I want the next continent to be awesome but realistically, considering how long they worked on Myrland (they remade/developped several towns/area in beta and Tindrem wasn't even opened on release), how long is it going to be to have another continent ready if they want it for their steam release? It sounds like they have a long-term release strategy for steam. Darkfall the official version, not its up-and-coming player-run spinoffs has gone offline indefinitely, according to a new post on the official forums. Henrik seems serious about his plans for a new continent, as much as I want it, I'm worried it will take forever.
